Whether you’re brand new to yoga or a seasoned practitioner, we’re here to make your experience smooth, clear, and supported. Below are some common questions—if you don’t see yours answered here, feel free to reach out at hello@fourthirtytwoyoga.com.
Welcome! We're so glad you're here. For group classes, we recommend bringing:
A yoga mat (we have a few extras available for rent if needed)
Water bottle
Comfortable clothing you can move in
An open mind and willingness to listen to your body
Optional: a towel or blanket, blocks, or a bolster if you like extra support.
Yes, we have a limited number of mats available for rent ($1), and a small number of blocks available for use. You are also welcome to bring your own!
We know life happens. Out of respect for others’ practice, we kindly ask that you arrive 10-15 minutes early. Doors lock at the scheduled start time. If you arrive after that, you may not be able to join the class. If you pre-registered for the class your pass will be forfeited. However, if you email hello@fourthirtytwoyoga.com within the hour, and it is your first lateness, we will reissue your pass.
First, welcome! We are so glad you are trying something new. In a 60-minute vinyasa class you can expect a mixture of mindful breathing, gentle movements that build in gradual intensity, dynamic and static stretching, and a rejuvenating meditation. The poses themselves may vary from class to class, but the structure is generally the same. Poses are always offered in order of accessibility, with the most accessible version of a pose being offered first, and additional variations being offered for more advanced or curious students. All students are always encouraged to listen to their body's cues first and foremost, and to take what they need. The instructor will circulate around the class calling cues, offering opt-in assists to students, and occasionally demonstrating a pose or transition. The time flies by!
Yoga is for every body, and our classes are designed to meet you where you are. Whether you’re brand new or returning to practice after a break, you’re welcome here. Our classes include multiple access points for poses to be inclusive of all experience levels. There’s no such thing as "doing it wrong." You’ll be guided through options to modify or skip any pose. Your breath and your body are the best teachers—listen to them. Rest is always welcome.
You can pre-register and pay online through our website, or pay on-site before class using cash or card. We offer:
$15 Drop-in passes
$120 10-Class Pack (valid for any group class)
$80 Private Sessions (pre-registration required)
We offer full refunds for drop-in passes if you cancel at least 24 hours prior to the start of class. Classes can be cancelled from the confirmation email you receive after booking. Late cancellations are non-refundable, as are no-shows. We are unable to refund passes associated with a 10 Class Pass. Private sessions are non-refundable.
Yes! Check out our Mommy & Me class—designed just for parents and their little ones (age 12 weeks to 18 months) . It’s a relaxed, supportive space where you can move, stretch, and care for yourself while your child plays nearby. If you are the birthing parent, please be sure your doctor has cleared you for physical activity.
If you have an older child (14+ years) interested in yoga, they may attend group classes with a legal guardian.
